Okinawa tree lizard

An endemic species of Japan found on the Amami and Okinawa Islands. Their limbs and tails are long and slender, and they have claws growing from their digits. They mainly inhabit treetops, spending most of their time resting in the shade. Males have a green coloration with yellow band patterns. They prey upon insects and bugs such as ants, butterflies, and spiders.
