Spotted moray

The spotted moray is a large species of moray eel. They are named for the black spots that pattern their white bodies. Like other moray eels, they hide their bodies away in their nests in between or under rocks and expose only their heads. They prey upon crustaceans and fish, as well as molluscs such as octopuses.
