Blue face angelfish

A large fish and a rare species in Japan. Their coloration differs significantly between juveniles and adults. Juveniles are blue with white stripes, while adults have blue faces, a patch of yellow around their eyes, and large black spots on their dorsal fins. They are omnivores that feed on things like algae, sessile organisms, and coral polyps.
