Red-eyed leaf frog

These frogs are found in the trees of tropical rainforests. As their name implies, they have distinctive bright red eyes with vertical pupils. They have orange feet, and their green bodies serve as a protective camouflage when they rest atop leaves. They are nocturnal creatures and spend the daytime hidden away under tree leaves. At night, they head lower down in search of insects on which to feed.
