Longhorn cowfish

Juveniles of this species have an adorable appearance that resembles a die, but once they mature they are recognizabled by long spines above their eyes and on their tail fins. When disturbed or stressed, they secrete a poisonous mucous from their skin in order to protect themselves from predators.
