Tambaqui

Although they are omnivorous fish, tambaqui subsist mainly on hard nuts that fall into the water by mashing them up with their incredibly sturdy teeth. While their appearance resembles that of a piranha, they are actually quite docile creatures and tend to live solitary lives.
