Slingjaw wrasse

These fish are distinct for a behavior where they stretch out their protrusible jaws to instantly suck up crustaceans and other prey from the gaps between coral. The species also exhibits a wide range of color variation, and depending on its environment, a fish of this species may change from yellow to reddish-brown or darker colors. They can change so much that they look like a different fish entirely.
