Blue-and-yellow macaw

Found in tropical rainforests, the bodies of these large parrots are vividly colored, with bright azure wings and golden bellies. They are some of the larger members of their family, reaching lengths of 90 cm. They mainly feed on fruit and seeds. Their beaks are incredibly powerful, allowing them to break open even the toughest of nuts with ease.
