Pineconefish

The pineconefish is yellow with a black net pattern. Their bodies are covered in thick, hard scales that protect them from predators. Their name is derived from the way the patterns on their bodies resemble a pinecone. This species is known for emitting light from the edge of their lower jaw to attract their prey.
