Butterfly peacock bass

The base of these fishes' tails feature black spots with white edges. Their name comes from the similarity of these eyelike patterns to the spots of a peacock. They are also known as "eye spot cichlids". They swim around the middle to upper levels of rivers preying mainly on smaller fish.
