Tiera batfish

These fish are very large in terms of body height, and their long dorsal and anal fins give them a broad body shape. Most fish of these species grow up to around 40 cm in length, but occasionally some adults can reach lengths of almost 1 m. They swim in small schools at moderate depths in coastal waters.
