Clown anemonefish

Most fish are paralyzed by the toxins found in sea anemones, but this species possesses an immunity to these toxins. When a threat appears, they escape to the safety of a sea anemone to protect themselves. They are sequential hermaphrodites, and when the largest female in a school dies, the largest male becomes female to take her place.
